Web Basics* Microcredential
This credential is designed to help students develop the skills they need to code websites in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, use a commercial web authoring tool, and understand the business context of websites for e-commerce and digital marketing. It consists of three courses in the Business Information Technology area: BIT 173 Website Creation with HTML/CSS; BIT 186 WordPress for Web Developers; BIT 196 Understanding Electronic Commerce.

Needed to earn this Microcredential
- C or higher in BIT 173: Website Creation with HTML/CSS
- 75 or higher on the creation of a responsive website with HTML/CSS(completed as part of BIT 173)
- C or Higher in BIT 186: WordPress for Web Developers
- 75 or higher on the Creation of Interactive Website with Web Design Tool (will be completed as part of BIT 186)
- 75 or higher on the Creation of Interactive Website with CMS (will be completed as part of BIT 186)
- C or Higher in BIT 196: Understanding Electronic Commerce
- 75 or higher on an eCommerce Case Study Presentation (will be completed as part of BIT 196)
- 75 or higher on an eCommerce SWOT analysis (will be completed as part of BIT 196)
