SUNY Broome is proud to support our veterans! The Veteran & Military Affairs Office processes certifications for 75-80 veterans who are attending classes and receiving veteran’s education benefits; referrals for counseling for financial, vocational and academic problems; and important information about resources available to them at the College.

Counseling and Career Services
The Center for Career Development is an additional resource that provides support to current students and SUNY Broome alumni by assisting with resumes, interview skills, and so much more.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) empowers Perkins-eligible students by supporting them throughout their academic journey at SUNY Broome. From college to career (or transfer), TCC provides professional development, time management skills, assistive technology, tutoring and more.
Basic Computer Skills Tutorial
If you need to brush up on your computer skills, try the “Essential Computer Skills” tutorial, a series of modules that have been designed specifically for students of SUNY Broome Community College. The tutorial is divided into 4 main areas that cover specific computer skills that students should have in order to be successful in their studies. The modules contain skills that can be applied to your computer use outside of SUNY Broome, as well as information that is specific to the computer systems we have on campus.
In addition, if you are seeking more structured, guided instruction in basic computer skills the department of Continuing Education offers many non-credit computer classes. Inquire within for more information on class meeting times and locations.
Online Education Support
SUNY Broome offers online courses, as well as more than a dozen fully online degree and certificate programs. Online programs allow you to further your education at a pace and schedule that works for you, while still feeling supported. Academic Support
The Learning Assistance Department offers academic assistance through support such as peer tutoring, the Math Lab, the Writing Center, and study skills workshops. In addition, there are a variety of services available for students with physical or learning challenges. These free services available to assist students in reaching their academic goals.
