Office Fundamentals* Microcredential
This microcredential gets you ready for the office – on site or online. Office Fundamentals combines keyboarding skills, Office 365 with a business case approach, and the use of mobile devices and virtual communication. The combination of keyboarding speed and accuracy with fundamental business software in modern settings breaks down the barriers that many job-seekers face for a variety of entry level positions in traditional offices as well as virtual assisting.

Requirements
Needed to earn this Microcredential
- C or Higher in BIT 100 Keyboarding 1
- Complete assignments with a grade of 75 or higher which demonstrating developed skill, accuracy, and confidence in using the computer keyboard and software. (Will be completed as part of BIT 100)
- Submit two acceptable timings at a minimum speed of 31 net words per minute with 5 or fewer errors for 5 minutes. (Will be completed as part of BIT 100)
- Complete assignments with a grade of 100 demonstrating proofreading techniques. (Will be completed as part of BIT 100)
- C or Higher in BIT 184 Introduction to Microsoft Office
- Complete assignments with a grade of 75 or higher to create business documents in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. (Will be completed as part of BIT 184)
- Complete an assignment with a grade of 75 or higher to integrate files from Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. (Will be completed as part of BIT 184)
- Complete assignment with a grade of 75 or higher to demonstrate the use of business apps on a mobile device. (Will be completed as part of BIT 184)
