Web Development* Microcredential
This credential is designed to help students develop the skills needed to develop websites with a focus on two key development areas: mobile apps and database driven systems. It covers key web development languages of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, php, and SQL, and includes project management skills which are widely sought after by development companies. Consists of three courses: BIT 260 Introduction to Database Management; BIT 265 Project Management; BIT 288 Mobile Web App Development.

Requirements
Needed to earn this Microcredential
- Earn a grade of C or higher in BIT 260: Introduction to Database Management.
- Earn a 75 or higher on a project which creates a database driven website with PHP and SQL (completed as part of BIT 260).
- Earn a grade of C or Higher in BIT 265: Project Management.
- Earn a 75 or higher on the completion of a team project from initiation through development using project management tools (will be completed as part of BIT 265).
- Earn a grade of C or Higher in BIT 288: Mobile Web App Development.
- Earn a 75 or higher on a project which creates a mobile web app with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and jQuery (will be completed as part of BIT 288).
